Optional: choose a rate within the compatible six-decimal input range. Otherwise the lowest compatible rate is explicitly selected.

Model and limits

The theoretical point and compatible six-decimal input rates answer different questions. The known payment is the ordinary payment; the last may be adjusted. This is not legal APR or a reconstruction of fees or a bank contract.

Fixed nominal rates, USD and end-of-period payments. No dates, daily interest, fees, taxes, escrow, penalties or legal APR. Money is rounded half-up to cents; table, graph and files use the same cashflow.

These are model estimates. A lender’s actual conventions can differ.
